Location. The historical Copenhagen Admiral Hotel is set in a 200-year-old grain warehouse on the waterfront in Copenhagen, Denmark. Next door to the Queen's Palace, with a view over the yachts in the harbour, the hotel is less than a kilometre from the Parliament and Christianborg Castle. Copenhagen Kastrup Airport is 10 kilometres away.
Hotel Features. Guests enter the Copenhagen Admiral Hotel's vaulted lobby through doors flanked with antique cannons. The lobby is decorated with wooden beams, stone flooring and modern furniture.
The hotel's Salt Restaurant, designed by Conran and Partners, serves innovative international dishes with Danish specialities. A wall of windows gives views out over the harbour. Drinks are served in the light and airy Salt Bar, which features stone flooring, wooden beams and arched doors and windows.
The Copenhagen Admiral Hotel has a well- equipped onsite business centre and conference rooms for small groups with wireless Internet access.
The hotel has a well-equipped fitness centre with a sauna. Guests can also relax in the hotel's garden or browse the gift shop.
Guestrooms. Each one of the Copenhagen Admiral Hotel's 366 guestrooms is unique. Designed by Danish firm Trip Trap, rooms feature custom- made teak furniture, wood-beamed ceilings and modern artworks on the walls. | From Copenhagen Airport Kastrup (CPH): Distance to the Copenhagen Admiral Hotel is 10 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Direct trains run between Terminal 3's station and Copenhagen central station every 10 minutes. There are regular trains to other locations in Denmark and Sweden. The Copenhagen Admiral Hotel is set on the waterfront, by the Queen's Palace. Taxis wait in front of Terminals 1 and 3 and cost around 160 DKK-200 DKK to the city centre. This price includes taxes and tips, and credit cards can be used. Bus numbers 9, 30, 500S and 250S run between the airport and the city centre (and beyond) until midnight every day. The number 96N runs throughout the night. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. The Copenhagen Admiral Hotel is located on Toldbodgade in central Copenhagen. Buses, an underground metro, trains, and water-buses provide excellent transportation throughout the city. One ticket can be used for all types of public transport. Bicycles are a popular way to explore Copenhagen, and there are a number of cycle paths in the city.
